PedraliGentleHabitat reimagines the workspace at Orgatec 2026

The Italian manufacturer presents furniture designed for welcoming, interconnected and people-centred workplaces
From 27 to 30 October, Pedrali, will take part in Orgatec, Cologne’s international trade fair dedicated to the evolution of workspaces and contract settings. Twenty-two years after its first participation in 2004, Pedrali returns to Orgatec for the ninth time, presenting new collections and additions to existing ranges that underscore its role in shaping contemporary workspaces.
Under the title “The Space We Share”, the 2026 edition explores the theme “From rooms to relationships: designing spaces in an ever-changing world”. Today, workspaces are expected to go beyond mere functionality and become places where people, ideas and activities can interact.
In this scenario, #PedraliGentleHabitat stand designed by the Milan-based DWA Design Studio (hall 6.1 – stand C021) takes center stage: a welcoming environment that translates the idea of a contemporary habitat where work, relationships and well-being coexist, giving rise to a variety of settings that reflect the many ways in which contemporary workspaces are experienced today. Areas dedicated to collaboration, lounge spaces for informal meetings, zones for concentration and moments of rest follow each other in a fluid sequence, reflecting the growing overlap between office and hospitality worlds.
The 700 sqm stand unfolds as a volume with a strong architectural identity, defined by visible structural
elements and a clear design language. The outer shell becomes a large neutral surface on which the entire project unfolds. The poplar wood structure is combined with textile surfaces that respond to variations in light, contributing to a dynamic and nuanced experience of the space. On this balanced and essential backdrop, the project comes to life through touches of colour: the settings emerge as intentional and controlled presences, capable of defining atmospheres, functions and identities.
The undulating canvas-clad walls introduce a variation in material and form, enhancing spatial perception by
adding depth, volume and refined interplay of light and shadow.
Nature is integrated into the stand through photography featured within the different settings, acting as visual openings onto natural landscapes. The images, captured by Milan-based photographer Alecio Ferrari, alternate wide panoramas with close-up details in which textures and colours emerge vividly.
Within this setting, people’s well-being is central: colour, light, materials and the presence of greenery help to create an environment that fosters connections, encourages interaction and enhances the quality of visitors’
experience.
At Orgatec 2026, Pedrali presents Ondine, a collection of sound-absorbing panels designed by DWA Design Studio to make work and contract environments more comfortable and welcoming. Among the novelties is the new Buddy Oasi Serpentine modular system by Busetti Garuti Redaelli, which expands Buddy Oasi collection, allowing the creation of potentially infinite, reconfigurable compositions that can evolve according to users’ needs and changing spatial requirements. Buddy collection is further expanded with new castor-equipped Buddy poufs, Buddyhub Sideboard and Buddyhub Desk versions.
Furthermore, Arki-Table Desk expands its configuration options with the addition of a dimmable LED lighting system featuring a central bridge structure, which ensures uniform lighting of the workstation.
